We at the Villager™️ are proud to announce that once again, we have an inside look to the 2020 Village School Year! This time, we’ve obtained a list from a trusted insider about some upcoming field trips. How exciting!
Firstly, in an effort to curb student misbehavior and possible future crime, Steve has decided to take the whole school to Rikers Island Penitentiary. Students will spend a day speaking to inmates, staying in cells, participate in prison yard gang activities and help perform a hands-on waterboarding demonstration.
Next, we’ve got an exciting science exclusive field trip offered by Megan, students will have the chance to visit a Classified Government Blacksite. Students are first blindfolded and knocked out, then transported on buses with tinted windows to the SCP Foundation. Students still get an opportunity to interact with government projects and cryptids that are too dangerous to leave not locked up.
Sam’s once in a lifetime field trip offering is to a Civil War battlefield where students and teachers alike can take part in a battle reenactment! Who will come out the victor? Time will only tell! Because we are staying in character, there can be no cell phones, and all permission slips must be sent via horseback. Our steam engine to the battle will depart at 16:00. This trip is BYOB. (Bring Your Own Bayonet)
And don’t miss out on Jeff’s field trip for his Government class. Those attending will be put in front of the United States Supreme Court! The stakes are incredibly high in this one; The First Amendment itself is at stake, and it’s up to the students to defend it. If they fail, the United States is doomed! No pressure, and no flash photography.
Finally, Lauren has decided to open an interdimensional portal to hell. Students will have to navigate the eternal pits of hellfire, participate in fun team building exercises, and descend the rings of hell as a class. This is a mandatory trip counting towards your final credit.
2020 seems to be a very promising year for both staff and students! With a great selection of field trips next year, there’s no risk of a shortage of fun. We hope to see you there!
